| 1. For clearer ice,
use de-ionized or distilled water and allow water to sit
in mold for several hours or over night before
freezing. It is not possible to get ice absolutely
clear like the professionals in a home freezer.
2. Make a test run prior to your
event so you know you are confident with your
masterpiece.
3. Sculptures can be made ahead of
time and kept frozen in a plastic bag so you can make
more than one mold for your table arrangement.
4. Display your ice sculpture on
an ice base. To do this, either purchase a block
of ice, or simply freeze a 3" or deeper block of
ice that is at least 12" wide to accommodate the
mold. It is beautiful and dramatic, and also adds
height, stability, and a longer life span to our ice
display. |
